Coats Epic Supermax is a unique polyester wrapped corespun thread, which is manufactured using a very special core spinning technology. This technology enables production of threads with high lustre and low surface hairiness that enhances the seam’s appearance. Its high-strength polyester filament core allows you to use finer threads that look more premium without compromising on seam strength.
Coats Epic Supermax creates smooth, neat seams on all fine tailored garments and gives an exceptional finish on imitation hand-stitching, eyelets and button holes. It’s also ideal for contrast stitching where a cleaner line is required. Thanks to its lubricated finish, it performs exceptionally well in demanding sewing environments.
This thread is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, CLASS I, the most stringent class covering babywear.
