Final de-risking of UK defined benefit pension scheme
Coats Group plc is pleased to announce that the trustee of the Coats UK Pension Scheme has purchased a c.£1.3 billion ($1.7 billion) bulk annuity policy (“buy-in”) from Pension Insurance Corporation plc which insures benefits payable under the scheme in respect of the remaining 80% of the scheme’s liabilities.
