When I iron my garment seams with bolder threads, the thread is damaged by the iron temperature. How do I stop this?
This happens when a thread with relatively lower melting temperature is used. A poly cotton corespun thread, which has a cotton cover with better resistance to heat, can help to resolve this issue, as would a 100% cotton thread.
What thread types are most suitable for over dye programmes?
It is important to use the same thread type as the fabric type for over dye programmes. Please contact Coats for more information if required.
