Group CFO Transition

Coats Group plc, the world’s leading manufacturer of thread and structural components for apparel and footwear and an innovative pioneer in performance materials, completed its Group Chief Financial Officer transition today, with Hannah Nichols succeeding Jackie Callaway at the conclusion of the 2025 AGM. Hannah joined the Board of Coats Group plc on April 24 as an Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer designate.

Hannah brings extensive financial experience to Coats, joining from Hill & Smith plc, the FTSE 250 international industrial group, where she has been Chief Financial Officer since 2019. Prior to this, Hannah worked for 15 years at BT Group plc, serving as Chief Financial Officer for Asia, Middle East and Africa for BT Global Services, based in Singapore. As a qualified chartered accountant, Hannah has considerable international experience and a track record of driving transformational change. Hannah is currently a Non-Executive Director of Oxford Instruments plc.
