Disclaimer
Coats GYM zips have been tested on domestic laundry processes using various washing powders and liquids, up to temperatures of 90'C and 5 consecutive washes. However, as the garments in which they are used are likely to be washed repeatedly, it is advised that Coats GYM zips are professionally dry cleaned or washed at normal domestic washing temperatures i.e. 40'C. Laundering as per this recommendation will deliver the expected results and will ensure long lasting performance of the Opti GYM zip. There are no precautions that need to be followed for hand washing, though use of strong bleaching of Coats GYM zips is not recommended due to the soft materials used in the clip down mechanism.
Prior to bulk production, Coats Opti recommends that tests and trials are carried out on all zip uses/applications in order to verify that the product meets end customer requirements and the demands of internal processing conditions.
