Secura EcoVerde
100% recycled fusible polyester / polyester corespun, self-locking thread
The thread is impregnated with a fusible compound, which creates a fusible fibre matrix upon thermal activation by steam or normal iron, and offers increased cohesion and enhanced button security.
Coats Secura EcoVerde exhibits excellent button pull through strength, excellent sewability, and good abrasion resistance that seals loose ends.
Coats Secura EcoVerde thread is sewn through the button in the same way as a regular thread, so there is no need for investment in new machinery. After sewing, the thread is fused to itself during the normal pressing operation. The recommended fusing temperature is 110ºC - 120ºC (polyester settings) with a dwell time of 10 seconds.
