Staple spun meta-aramid thread for flame retardant products
The long staple technology allows a finer thread to achieve similar strength characteristics to a coarser, staple spun product. It is ideal for flame retardant clothing which requires very fine seams without compromising strength. It is recommended for flame retardant embroidery.
Pyrostar is EN ISO 15025 certified. This allows the thread to be used in garments requiring EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 141160 and EN 469 certification.
Pyrostar may also be used in a wide range of other applications such as filters and sealings. It delivers excellent strength, durability, seam appearance and superior sewing performance due to its special finishing.
