Protos Steel

Para-aramid wrapped steel core yarn for high temperature applications

Coats Protos Steel is constructed with a special steel core and a para-aramid wrap. The steel core can withstand temperatures up to 400°C under mechanical strain and 1000°C without any mechanical strain. This makes it an excellent choice for a broad range of insulating and heat/flame protective products.
