Glow-in-the-dark embroidery thread for footwear
The thread charges in sunlight and artificial light (to a lesser degree) which enables it to glow-in-the-dark. It is ideal for sewing standout logos and designs on footwear and accessories.
Lucence HD is a heavy-duty embroidery thread which gives excellent performance on demanding, thicker and more difficult materials. It offers a high level of abrasion resistance to withstand wear and tear.
Lucence HD meets our Coats restricted substance list. It is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, class I, the most stringent class covering textile items for babies and toddlers.

Technical Recommendations for Embroidery Applications
- Recommended machine speeds are 650 to 750 SPM. These will depend upon the different materials being sewn
- Recommended needle is DBXK5 65/9
- Lucence HD is coarser than normal embroidery thread and may not be suitable for small very fine embroideries
- Sewing machine tension adjustments may be required to avoid looping
