Coats, the world\u2019s leading industrial thread manufacturer and a major player in the Americas textile crafts market, has won a gold award at the 2018 Corporate and Financial Awards in the \u2018Best online report: FTSE 250\u2019 category.<\/h2>\n

The Corporate and Financial Awards recognises excellence in all aspects of financial and corporate communication. The seventh annual awards ceremony was held on Tuesday 25 September, at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, in London.<\/p>\n

Coats\u2019 2017 online Annual Report was themed \u2018Delivering today, Transforming for tomorrow\u2019 and provided its financial and sustainability performance for the year. The content-rich, mobile responsive mini site, kept to a single page to provide users with a concise and consistent form of navigation. It included a short video from the CEO, as well as providing strong visual aids and clickable drop down information. It earned resounding praise from the Awards judges, who said \u2018the content was well defined in terms of strategy, innovation, challenges and goals\u2019.<\/p>\n

Simon O\u2019Brien, Head of Brand and Online accepted the award on behalf of Coats.<\/p>\n
