The mercerising process also gives the thread a high affinity to the dyestuffs used in post dyeing, making it an ideal choice for sewing both untreated and mercerised 100% cotton fabrics.
As Dymax is mercerised cotton, the thread dyeing consistently gives the best color result every time. The thread has a smooth surface and high lustre or shine, resulting in beautiful seams.
