Glow-in-the-dark embroidery thread
The thread is 'charged' in sunlight or in artificial light (to a lesser degree) and emits a luminous glow quality when viewed in the dark.
Lucence is available in a range of 8 shades: Natural White, Dyed White, Light Pink, Light Orange, Light Yellow, Light Green, Light Blue and Light Purple.
Lucence is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, class I, the most stringent class covering textile items for babies and toddlers. It also meets Coats restricted substance list.
It works exceptionally well as an embroidery thread or as decorative topstitching. It offers a high level of abrasion resistance during washing and for wear.

Disclaimer
Coats Lucence retains its glow-in-the-dark characteristics after a number of washes with limited loss of glowing power following 15 washes at 60°C. It is recommended to wash at temperatures less than 60°C. When ironing, use cool iron and do not use steam.
For apparel leather or other heavy apparel fabrics including denim please refer to Lucence HD, article 46H1100, available in one shade (natural).
