Coats, the world\u2019s leading industrial thread and yarn manufacturer, is participating at JEC World where an Elemental Rp1 sports car will be displayed on its stand.\u00a0 The reinforced thermoplastic wheel arches and exhaust cap feature Coats Synergex and embroidery process technology.\u00a0 This annual event is the largest international gathering for the composites industry and is held in Paris at Paris Nord Villipente, from Tuesday 14 March to Thursday 16 March.\u00a0 Coats is in hall 5A, stand L78.<\/p>\n

Coats will also feature in the Automotive and Land Transportation Planet, one of four Innovation Planets dedicated to four major end user applications.\u00a0 It is located in hall 6.<\/p>\n

Coats Synergex, is a range of advanced composite fibres that can be processed into fabric form using technologies such as twisting and commingling.\u00a0 The advantage lies in an acceleration of the manufacturing process; instead of using resins or autoclave, the composite fibres can be embroidered directly into complex shapes and the final composite parts can be metal pressed.\u00a0 This cutting edge product has been specially designed by Coats to deliver a perfect balance of strength, weight and performance for industries including automotive and aerospace.\u00a0 It also reduces waste and cost as well as offers recyclability.<\/p>\n
