Seam strength, seam elongation and comfort are all necessary for knitted sweaters. Our comprehensive selection of threads for knitwear meets these requirements.<\/p>\n

A polyester corespun thread is recommended, but sometimes on wool or cotton garments, there is a requirement for the sewing thread used in creating Cut & Sew knitwear to be done with a sewing thread that does not have as much lustre. When this is the case, a polyester\/cotton sewing thread can be substituted in the corresponding tex sizes.<\/p>\n

Approximate thread consumption is 50 metres. Depending on required final quality, alternative thread types may be used. Thread size will determine needle size.<\/p>\n
