Opti LUX StitchLine is from the luxurious LUX zip range, is specially developed to meet the needs of correct zip insertion and function plus guide material positioning.
A clever guiding line indicates the distance from the teeth needed to ensure the normal slider running which makes sewing easier.
Constant clearance of at least 2mm from top to bottom of the zip should be kept in order to allow the slider's smooth passage along the full length of the zip.
Extra care should also be taken at cross-seam positions where the thickness of fabric / leather multilayer gives additional weight and creates slider running problems.

Disclaimer
LUX teeth are made of brass which are treated to achieve the different finishes detailed below. For application in leather goods, a finish containing nickel is recommended. This is due to the rather aggressive tanning processes used in production; a preliminary test on the product is always recommended.
All LUX finishes, excluding gold nickel, titanium and pink gold, are compliant with 94/27/EC directive restricting the use of nickel for products coming into direct and prolonged contact with skin. There are no restrictions for home or dry cleaning.
Prior to bulk production, Coats Opti recommends that tests and trials are carried out on all zip uses/applications in order to verify that the product meets end customer requirements and the demands of internal processing conditions.
