Mercerized cotton thread for post dyed garments
Dymax mercerized cotton thread is produced from high quality, long staple cotton specially treated under tension to provide greater luster and higher strength. The mercerizing process also gives the thread a high affinity to the dyestuffs used in post dyeing, making it an ideal choice for sewing both untreated and mercerized 100% cotton fabrics.
As Dymax is mercerized cotton, the thread takes up the dye consistently giving the best color result every time. The thread has a smooth surface and high luster or shine, resulting in beautiful seams.
Dymax is certified to Öko-Tex Standard 100, class I, the most stringent class covering textile items for babies and toddlers, and meets our Coats restricted substance list.
