Dual Duty Multi
Multicolor polyester filament corespun with cotton wrap, ideal for denim wear
Coats Dual Duty Multi is an attractive heather-effect or mélange thread, produced by dyeing the two components (polyester filament core and cotton wrap) of the thread in two different colors.
It gives a unique, subtle, natural look for topstitching, for embroidery or for other decorative stitching e.g. pocket detail. Dual Duty Multi performs very well under severe denim washing operations and has outstanding abrasion resistance.
Our high-tech corespun sewing thread combines the tenacity and strength of a polyester filament core with a cotton wrap, delivering excellent sewing performance for your most demanding applications.
Dual Duty Multi has a strong poly core allowing the use of finer thread sizes, which improves the garment's seam appearance without compromising on seam strength. The outstanding abrasion resistance of our product makes it ideal for heavy wash applications.

Textile Care Labelling
For especially harsh wash processes and for innovative wash processes with new chemicals, it is recommended to carry out a full test wash to ensure the thread fully meets the requirement under the intended conditions before bulk.
There is no guaranteed geometrical pattern of the shade for Dual Duty Multi, each cone is unique. While this sought after look is desirable it is important that customers are aware of this feature. Using two cones of the same size or different sizes (due to core/cover ratios and blending) on the same garment may result in variations to its marbled effect. It’s important that customers ensure that this is taken into account when using this product and are satisfied with these results prior to moving to bulk production.
Since conditions and applications vary considerably in the use of a product, the customer and/or user should assure herself or himself that the product meets end customer requirements and is suitable for the intended end use.
