For the overlock serging operation the use of Gral 200 or Gramax Tex 18 is sometimes used to reduce the overall thread cost in the garments.
Approximate thread consumption is 190 meters. Your thread size will determine the size of the needle needed for sewing. To fit the demands of the final quality required. alternative thread types may be used.

Where two Tex sizes of thread have been suggested the choice will be determined by the fabric weight, the construction of the load bearing seams and the stitch definition required (topstitching).
