Information about the Data Controller
Information will be processed by J&P Coats (the controller) for the purpose of providing you with the requested information by processing, evaluating and responding to you request, provide customer service, keep you informed regarding our products and services, communicate about events, programmes or promotions, newsletter updates, perform data analysis, conduct marketing and sales activities, operate evaluate and improve our business (such as enhancing and improving our goods and services, developing new product and services, managing our communications and customer relationships.
What is the purpose of the processing?
The processing is based on your freely given consent to process the information (article 6 (1)(a) or the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (article 6(1)(b) of GDPR) and by selecting this checkbox you’re agreeing to processing of information submitted via this form.
Who might receive your data?
Recipients of your personal data may include Coats entities belonging to Coats Group, including marketing, sales or technical and operational support which is required by Coats to perform the purpose of the processing. Data Controller may transfer your personal data to a third country or an international organisation where an adequacy decision was issued by the Commission, appropriate safeguards have been established, including binding corporate rules, standard data protection clauses, approved code of conduct or an approved certification mechanism.
How long are we going to store your data?
We will keep your data until the withdrawal of your consent. You have the right to request from the controller access to and rectify or erase your personal data or restrict the processing, to object to the processing and have the right to data portability. Your consent might be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing.
What are your rights?
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Filling the information into the form is based on your consent and there are no consequences for not providing the personal data.
