Polyester corespun sewing thread is recommended, but occasionally with wool or cotton garments, there is a requirement for the sewing thread used in creating Cut & Sew knitwear to have less lustre. When this is the case, a polyester\/cotton sewing thread can be substituted in the corresponding Tex sizes.  On overlock, chainstitch and coverseaming operations, the under thread may be substituted for Gramax if a greater degree of seam covering is required.  Approximate thread consumption is 80 metres.
